Keurig B60 Single Cup Coffeemaker Review
Ive been a coffee drinker for almost 30 years and Ive tasted coffee brewed just about any way you can imagine. Ive had my coffee singed over a campfire, perked in an aluminum percolator, boiled in a saucepan, and, yes, even dripped through Mr. Coffee. I drink it black, I drink it with cream and/or sugar and Ive even added a few different medicinal libations to it. And at one time, I dated a construction worker who liked his coffee strong enough to climb out of the cup and smack him awake in the morning!
Ive lost count of the number of coffee makers Ive used and abused over the years. They all start out working perfectly. After a couple of weeks, though, the coffee seems to start losing its flavor. Then I start making it stronger for awhile, until it starts to fade again. Eventually, Im using so much coffee just trying to get it to taste like something that I might as well be paying $5 a cup at Starbucks!
About a year ago, I was one of eight guests at a friend's dinner party. At the end of the meal, I offered with the coffee. As I was handing down the cups to her, I noticed she had an odd assortment of little, plastic pods on the counter. When I asked her what they were, she told me it was coffee and that I was in for the best cup of my life. Then she put one single cup under the brewer. One Cup! Did she think I wanted to spend all night making 8 cups of coffee?!
Im sure you can guess the rest of the story. We had 8 different cups of fresh brewed, HOT COFFEE just as quickly as if we had used my crappy coffee maker at home! And it WAS the best cup of coffee Id ever had! In fact, I had 3 that night. I wanted to try some of the different flavors " just to make sure. That night I had Extra Bold, Hazelnut and Butter Toffee and each one was the perfect cup. Remembering my difficulty with coffee makers tiring out after a few weeks, I asked her how long she had had this wonderful machine and she said she had had it for over a year!
The very next day I ordered my first Keurig Coffeemaker. I started off with the Keurig B40 and have since decided that the Keurig B60 is my coffeemaker of choice. Its been on my kitchen counter for a little over 6 months now and each cup of coffee still tastes as wonderful as the first.
One of the features that I like best about the Keurig B60 Single Cup Coffeemaker is that it allows you to brew three different size cups of coffee. Not only is the small size perfect for those mornings when you're running late for work, but the large size will fill a travel mug. This feature also allows you to adjust the strenght of your coffee. Great for those mornings when you need a little extra help getting out the door!
Another feature that I really enjoy is that the Keurig B60 is always on, always ready to brew that perfect cup of coffee. And because it has a 48 ounce water reservoir, you never have to wait for that warm-up time again.
