I purchased my espresso machine not very long ago, and I wonder now how I ever got along without it. I did a lot of research and was going back and forth among the Krups XP4050 and a more expensive model. Although the fancy ones have some amazing features, the price was far too high. Then it seems I was instinctively drawn along the aisle to the automatic, fully dedicated version of the espresso machine by Krups.

I was so delighted with the very first espresso I brewed with my new Krups XP4050 that I have gone from being a devoted coffee lover to a verified coffee fanatic. What's more, I have learned how to use the maker so completely that I have to explain everything to you.

Though I love my machine, the milk frother could be better when it comes to cappuccinos. I finally took it off, using the stem, a very short version really. However, I love the option of heating either coffee or milk. It's a mean and lean coffee making machine! The Krups machine comes with a variety of capsules that are quite inexpensive to replace, and which enable you to choose between single or double espresso shots. The water container is simple to fill and to take out; however you want to make sure that it is in its place once you return it or you won't get the steam you need. Don't worry as it will let you know if things are not set up correctly.

Overall, this is what I have to say regarding the Krups XP4050 espresso machine.

It can be used in many ways.

It is not expensive.

It makes great coffee.

The catchment tray could be larger.

The main nozzle could be of a better design.

All in all I would rate this machine as the 2nd best on the market

The Krups Xp4050 Is Transportable, Flexible, And Beautifully Made

I've had my Krups xp4050 for a few months now, and I've had time to discover more about it in detail. A lot of coffee drinkers are discussing this small espresso device, so I decided to chime in and present my opinion. So, what is there to love about the xp4050 espresso machine?

To begin with, even though it's a little machine, it performs very well. I am impressed with the beautiful style and looks of the Krups, and best of all, it uses up only a small bit of counter top. Most of us do not want a huge machine taking up more space on our counter tops.

There's no reason to hide the espresso maker in your cabinet either, as the front panel, made from stainless steel, is very attractive. It waits out on my counter top for me to ask it to make hot water, froth cream, or give me my personal mug of espresso.

There is also a big container for water in the coffee maker. In addition, even people with no experience brewing espresso can use this machine. It cleans up easily making it more convenient for me to use it as often as I like. The Krups xp4050 also includes a tray to warm your cup, and a strong pump. The Krups xp4050 is portable, also, making it convenient for me to carry along on vacations and business trips. The device is extremely flexible. It features parts that can be swapped out to accommodate a variety of pods.

So, at the end of the day, the Krups xp4050 makes a great cup of espresso and it does it easily and efficiently. I am very happy that I can take it with me wherever I go, and that it was very reasonably priced.

The espresso machine fits into my kitchen beautifully without overwhelming the counter. It's a solid machine at a fair price, so I can recommend it to just about anyone.
